The national distributor – SES Technologies – is facing a ban in Panipat, owing to the rising discontent amongst the local channel fraternity.
“It’s been one month since the channel partners decided to ban the distributor,” said Ajay Singla, president of Panipat Computer Dealer Association (PCDA).

As per the information received by ChannelTimes, the distributor black listed a Panipat-based dealer without giving any justification. “The branch manager of the local SES Technologies office was involved in this conspiracy against the dealer,” said Singla.

The dealer was facing the problem from the distributor s side for the past one year. “As soon as we received a complaint 4 months back, we verified the problem and served a notice to the distributor asking it to take an action against the branch manager. There was no response from the company to the 4 notices in the span of 3 months,” explained Singla. Finally, on July 06, 2007, PCDA decided to ban SES Technologies.

According to the aggrieved partner, Sandeep Bansal, proprietor of The Computer People, the entire episode has affected the goodwill of his company. “This is a matter of breach of my trust in the distributor and I am grateful to the association for standing by me,” he said.

When contacted, Manish Lodhi, branch manager of SES Technologies (Panipat) said, “We’re not aware of any such ban in the city and I completely deny all the allegations against me. The association didn’t initiate any meeting to resolve the alleged issue.”

Clarifying this, Pankaj Goyal, proprietor of Pearl Infotech said, “We’ve written mails requesting immediate resolution of the matter but there has been absolutely no response from the company.”

The mail received by ChannelTimes stated “Henceforth, no member of the association will purchase any material directly or indirectly from any source, which bears any sticker of ‘Distributed by SES technologies’.”

Parsvnath Developers announced that the company will conduct the laying of foundation of the ultra modern township Parsvnath Paliwal City in Panipat with a project cost of Rs 2,350 million. The company announced the launch of plots in the township ranging from 250 sq. mtrs. to 836 sq. mtrs. The company would now develop the township in sector 38-39 of Panipat.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Jain, managing director of the company, said, “Parsvnath Paliwal City is built keeping in mind the opportunities to explore the huge demand for quality services in Panipat. City will redefine luxurious living for the people of Panipat. The township would provide facilities that will he truly world class at par with convenience.“

The project is in collaboration with a well known exporter of Panipat. The development of township is expected to be complete in two years from the date of commencement of work.

Parsvnath Paliwal City is located near Devilal Choudhary Park. The township is spread over 162 acres containing plots of various sizes ranging from 50 sq. mtrs. to 836 sq. mtrs. This township is equipped with all the modern amenities. The township will consist of plots, group housing, shopping mall with multiplex, club with swimming pool, dispensary, school, taxi stand etc, Vast stretches of metallic and well-planned roads make the township an address to impress.
